Trying to find a new hobby!

Hi everyone,

I haven't been on Blogger in so long and I've been putting it off because I have been extremely busy with work and school but I decided it is time to resurface! :) Recently I was looking into finding a new hobby. Painting and drawing has always been a passion of mine but I never got into perfecting it. I found a website called Painting Course. com and it is a free painting and drawing online course. I started doing the introduction and first lesson. It is pretty intriguing to me and it relaxes me. I think everyone that is interested in this sort of thing should take out your sketchbooks and try it out :)

Hopefully I will get to this level of painting if I try hard enough! :)

If anyone else tries it let me know!

Thanks for following my blog :) Peace!!

Hi guys,

Today I am going to talk about one of my somewhat recent discoveries. It is a website called Wanelo. I think it is pretty fabulous, it basically has a lot of online products such as clothes and jewelry, etc., from all around the internet. I get on it all the time, altough some of the stuff might be a little pricey, there also some good deals that you can find. But the site is very addicting, I love it and you guys should check it out too and tell me what you think. Here is the link to the site:

Here are some products that I loved on there:

I loove earrings! and these are very edgy and gauge type earring. What I love about it is that you don't have to acually gauge your ears :)

This is such a cute skirt and that top looks great with it! I love those colors together.

I love how colorful these are!

This bag is so chic and I love the color!

These are all very chic and awesome. As you can see I really love earrings. Lol! I love jewelry in general!

Thank you guys for reading and following my blog! I hope you all enjoyed this post! :)

If you have any comments you know where to go! :)

Office/Business Looks

Hi everyone !

I have been very busy starting a new job so I apologize for not posting anything lately. I got a job in an office environment so I wanted to share with you some wardrobe ideas. I am going to do an office/ business clothing haul today and I hope you guys enjoy it!

 Look 1

The shirt underneath is a a silky cream top that you can pair with either a chiffon waterfall cardigan or a short sleeve cotton cardigan. I think black is a good choice for an office environment or any neutral colors. Color is good but not in huge amounts.

Get the look:

Look 2

Here I have added a more colorful top with a geometric print but toned it down with a gray cardigan. I love this look because of the pop of color.

Get the look:

Look 3

For this look I went with a cowl neck top paired with a silky, sequined blazer. You might think that the sequence is too much for the office but it is quite subtle and adds a little bit of flare to your outfit.

Get the look:

All of these outfits can be paired with a nice pair of black, gray, cream or white slacks. You can also choose a skirt if you wish to. You can also wear heels or flats. I usually wear heels but not with a super high heel.

Some ideas of how to complete the outfit:

I hope that this post is going to be helpful for some of you! This is pretty much what I wear at work or different variations of this.

What do you usually wear to work?

Feel free to leave any comments and don't forget to follow my blog :) I will return the favor

Have a wonderful office day!

Kat Von D Make Up Tutorial

Hi everyone,

This is my very first make up blog and today I decided to make a Kat Von D makeup tutorial because I've always loved her makeup. So I decided to explain how I got her look and with pretty affordable make up.

Step 1: Since Kat Von D uses fake lashes a lot of the times I used the Ardell Dura Lash to add a little more volume to my natural lashes and I put the lashes on first because your face has to be make up and oil free before application, but they are very easy to manage and they come off easily when you want to remove your makeup.

Step 2: I used the Victorias Secret Pro Face Illuminator which works wonders and I love using it under the base foundation because it makes the face a lot smoother and leaves it glowing.

Step 3: I used a base foundation called Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam in classic ivory. It is a pretty decent foundation and it evens out the skin tone pretty smoothly and its also very lightweight.

Step 4: Concealer is very important to me since I have dark circles under my eyes and I usually use the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. It has pretty good coverage and I use it everyday and it is lightweight just like the foundation which is ideal for everyday use.

Step 5: Kat Von D always has very defined and bold eyebrows, I usually use a brow pencil from Avon Glimmersticks Brow Definer in a shade of brown because it is very bold and the color stays on forever. :) make sure you make the eyebrow go longer than where your eye ends because they seem more healthy and bold that way.

Step 6: For the eyeshadow I used 3 different shades to create a dramatic look. First I used the Sedona Lace palette in the color bronze for the entire eyelid and I used the dark gray for the crease of my eye to create depth and also kind of winged it out in the outer corner of my eye to create a dramatic effect. For the corner of my eyes I used the Urban Decay Fun Pallete with the color bronze as well but this color is very bright and pretty.

Step 7: I applied a black eyeliner very close to the lash line. You can use any kind of eyeliner you got, and smuge the top with an eyeshadow brush to create a more soft look, also add eyeliner on the water line. After the eyeliner I applied the Maybelline Falsies Volume Mascara on both bottom and top lashes ( approx 2 coats).

Step 8: Last but not least I used the ELF palette for the bronzer ( used the lighter shade for the entire face for a glowing sun kissed effect) and the darker shade to define the cheekbones since Kat does have a very defined bone structure. I added the ELF lipstick color Posh in red as a finishing touch since we know Kat loves wearing red lipstick.

Thank you guys and I hope you enjoyed my first makeup blog, here's a picture of how the makeup turned out.
